Inner work aftercare

Once you've completed a workshop, it's important to give yourself time to process + integrate the experience.

Inner work can feel quite tiring (we're literally excavating our old programming, working through uncomfortable emotions + doing deep energetic work) so be kind to yourself in the coming days + weeks.

Aftercare can look like:

  • Speaking to yourself with love, compassion + understanding

  • Carving out time to be with yourself + release emotions

  • Practicing self-care

  • Grounding yourself in nature

  • Congratulating yourself for doing hard things to help move yourself forward

  • Setting boundaries to support your wellbeing

  • Journalling on new insights that come up afterwards

  • Embracing emotions that come up instead of resisting them

  • Meditating to feel calm + connected to yourself + source

  • Connecting with supportive friends + family

  • Eating nourishing foods

  • Engaging in gentle activities like walking, yoga, breathing exercises, dancing

The goal is to support your nervous system, integrate new awareness + perspective shifts, start embodying the new version of you that's emerging, and create a safe supportive space for healing and growth.

Ask yourself:

What do I need right now?

How can I support myself in the coming days?

What parts of the workshop would I like to revisit?
