The fear of being seen can feel deeply limiting and frustrating.
I know you crave to show up in the world as your highest self - free to share your authenticity, voice, energy, message and creations with the world.
You have big dreams and a vision that you want to bring to life.
You probably see others showing up fully-expressed, radiant and confident in themselves - and wonder "why can't that be me?"
+ You worry about what other people will think - whether it's friends, family or Holly from high school
+ You feel nervous to show up differently to what others expect of you, in case you won't be accepted
+ The idea of sharing yourself and your dreams with the world feels too vulnerable, because "what if it doesn't work out?"
+ You can't help but question whether you're actually any good or have anything valuable to offer
+ You are afraid of receiving criticism, unkindness or rejection if you put yourself out there and become more visible
Once you do the inner work to break through your fears of being seen, embrace who you are and recognise the value you offer, you will start to show up exactly the way you've envisioned...
The confident, radiant, worthy version of you who takes bold action towards their dreams.
This workshop is for you if you want to feel confident being seen online e.g. sharing your work or making videos on social media, or if you want to feel more at ease in 'real life' situations such as public speaking or personal interactions.
You wouldn’t believe it now from my content, but throughout my teens and 20s, I struggled deeply with my self-esteem and being seen. It was my biggest hang-up - I was constantly described as 'shy' by my school teachers, and I would often blush out of embarrassment when someone focused their attention on me.
My fear showed up even more when I knew that following my purpose would demand me to show up online. Whilst I felt called to make videos, I was terrified of it. Even in day to day life I felt like I was in hiding, not confident enough to be myself - so how was I supposed to put that on show for the world to see?
It all shifted when I got tired of my 'not enough-ness' and my playing smaller than I knew I was capable of, and did the inner work. I started to show up before I felt ready. I committed to making myself seen by creating content consistently. I decided not to care what people might think because I realised it wasn't any of my business.
I've now made 100s of videos, and impacted many thousands of people with my content over the last 5 years. I've also helped many individuals on a one-to-one basis to build their personal brand and show up authentically and confidently online.
I'm sure you too have a beautiful vision for your life, so don't let fear get in the way. The world deserves to see you.
From members of the Y+Y community who were where you are, now.
I actually didn’t realise how much I was holding onto the fear of being fully seen until I did this workshop so that was a bit of a surprise to me. The truths dropped in for me (especially the point around perfectionism) and I felt I released internal tension.
I had a little cry for a few minutes after the workshop as feelings arose and reflections happened. Now I feel like I have a more expansive mindset to allowing myself to be fully seen.
I suddenly feel the need to bring my projects to life. The workshop was confirmation that all the ideas I was keeping hidden were actually important and valuable to come out.
I realised that by putting myself out there more and releasing my fears I would actually gain more from the world. The workshop really reassured me of that and to accept myself and find more freedom in myself, instead of being so concerned about what people think. I already started to make more reels and share my voice with them.
