Our facilitators

Meet our warm, inspiring facilitators devoted to supporting + guiding you.

Our founder: Ellen Danielle

Ellen’s purpose is to guide you into a deeper relationship with yourself, a mission she’s held close to her heart for 10 years. She previously founded a 6+ figure women’s fashion brand and empowerment platform, and holds a deep interest in self-growth and mindfulness. Her experience is rooted in 8+ years of meditation practice, nervous system understanding and an active growth + healing journey.

For most of her teens and early 20s, she struggled with low self-esteem, unhealthy relationships, chronic stress and misalignment - until it reached such a low point that she decided to radically commit to going inwards. Diving deep into healing practices and tools, gaining awareness and rewriting her story, she realised the quality of her life depended on the quality of her relationship to herself. By nurturing herself and doing the inner work, life finally started to feel better and become a reflection of her authentic self.

YinPlusYang was born out of this journey, offering the day-to-day support for women to shift their emotional state, regulate their nervous system, navigate life challenges and expand into peace, joy and success.

Each practice creates a safe and mindful space to explore movement, listen to the body, and reconnect with oneself, fostering a sense of grounding, openness, and inner renewal.

Sophia Li

Sophia is a yoga teacher with a teaching style rooted in strength, mobility, breath, and presence. Her own practice began as a way to slow down, reconnect with herself, and find calm and clarity through movement. She teaches yoga as a supportive space for building resilience, self-trust, and a deeper connection to the body.

Her classes invite students to move with intention, listen inward, and meet themselves with curiosity. Blending mindful movement and breath, Sophia creates practices that help students feel more present and grounded, both on and off the mat.

Britt

Britt is a yoga teacher and co-host of surf & yoga retreats, with a belief at the heart of everything she does: in a fast-paced world, we could all use a little more vulnerability... starting with ourselves. To listen. To feel. To turn inward. To find a bit of light within, and let it spill into the world around us.

For about two years, she has taught yoga at locations around the globe, focusing on yin and hatha practices. Her classes aren't about achieving the perfect asana. They're about the time you gift yourself to simply be with yourself, to love and care for your body and mind.

As a surfer, Britt believes yoga & meditation and surfing are the perfect combination. A calm mind beneath the surface of the ocean changes everything, and a flexible body only sharpens your skills in the water. Bringing women together through her surf & yoga retreats is where it all comes full circle for her.
