1. About These Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the YinPlusYang digital library platform (the "Platform") and all content, services, and features available through it (the "Services"). By creating an account or accessing the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

YinPlusYang is operated as an unregistered business under the trading name YinPlusYang ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and our Waiver of Liability and Release, which form part of your agreement with us.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account and purchase a subscription. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf. By using the Platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. The Services

The Platform provides access to a library of pre-recorded guided video practices, including EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) tapping, guided meditation, mindset activations, somatic movement (including yoga-based exercises), and journalling prompts and practices.

All content is provided for general wellness and personal development purposes only. Nothing within the Platform constitutes medical advice, psychotherapy, psychological treatment, or clinical care of any kind. You are responsible for determining whether the Services are appropriate for your individual circumstances.

4. Accounts

To access the Services, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account;

  • Keep your login credentials secure and not share them with any other person;

  • Notify us promptly if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account;

  • Take full responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

Each subscription is for a single user only. Sharing account access with others is not permitted and may result in suspension or termination of your account.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

5.1 Subscription Plans Access to the Platform is available through the following plans:

  • Monthly Subscription: billed once per month, renewing automatically each month

  • Annual Subscription: billed once per year, renewing automatically each year

5.2 Free Trials We may offer free trial periods for new members from time to time. At the end of your free trial, you will automatically be charged for the subscription plan you selected at sign-up unless you cancel before the trial period ends. By starting a free trial, you authorise us to charge your payment method at the end of the trial period.

5.3 Automatic Renewal All subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. We will not notify you separately before each renewal charge.

5.4 Price Changes We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time. If we change the price of your plan, we will give you reasonable advance notice. Your continued use of the Platform after a price change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the new price.

6. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation:

  • You will retain access to the Platform until the end of your current billing period;

  • Your subscription will not renew at the next billing date;

  • No partial refunds will be issued for unused time within a billing period.

It is your responsibility to cancel before your next renewal date if you do not wish to be charged.

7. Refund Policy

All purchases, including recurring subscription charges, are final and non-refundable. We do not offer refunds for any subscription payments, whether monthly or annual, including in the event of partial use, inactivity, or dissatisfaction with the Services.

8. Intellectual Property

All content available through the Platform — including but not limited to videos, audio recordings, text, graphics, guided practices, and branding — is the intellectual property of YinPlusYang and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

Your subscription grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the content solely for your own private, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

  • Copy, download, screen-record, reproduce, or redistribute any content from the Platform;

  • Share your account access or content with any third party;

  • Use any content for commercial purposes or public display;

  • Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on any content.

Any unauthorised use of our content may result in immediate termination of your account and may expose you to legal liability.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

  • Use the Platform in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it;

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its related systems;

  • Use the Platform to harass, harm, or exploit others;

  • Upload or transmit any harmful, unlawful, or offensive content.

10. Health Disclaimer

Participation in the Services is at your own risk. You are responsible for ensuring that your participation is appropriate for your physical and mental health. We strongly recommend consulting a qualified medical or mental health professional before beginning any wellness practice, particularly if you have a pre-existing physical or mental health condition.

The Services are not a substitute for professional medical, psychiatric, psychological, or therapeutic care. In particular, certain practices including EFT tapping, somatic movement, and guided meditation may surface strong emotional responses. You agree to engage with all content at your own pace and to discontinue any practice that does not feel appropriate for you.

Use of the Platform is subject to our Waiver of Liability and Release, which you must accept before accessing the Services.

11. Privacy and Data

We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

By creating an account, you agree that we may send you marketing communications, including email newsletters, updates, and promotional offers. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us directly.

12. Third-Party Services

13. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have breached these Terms, without liability to you. Upon termination, your right to access the Platform will cease immediately.

You may also terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and contacting us to request account deletion.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, YinPlusYang shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform or the Services. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including statutory consumer rights.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where the changes are material, notify you by email. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which YinPlusYang operates. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation, and thereafter through mediation or arbitration where applicable. Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
