If there’s a connection in your life that you have been trying to let go of and distance yourself from - but at a deeper level, something still feels unresolved and energetically ‘open’, a cord cutting ritual can finally release them and return you to your own energy.
You can know whether an unhelpful energetic cord exists if: your thoughts are consumed by the connection; you are wishing for them to reach out and putting them on a pedestal; you are still carrying unhelpful or ‘negative’ emotions about the situation between you; you feel unable to truly move on; or your energy levels are lower than usual.
This applies to both romantic or platonic connections.
In the past, I’ve turned to cord cutting rituals when I’ve recognised that a connection is no longer serving me, and it's time to let go of it.
It’s always been a powerful experience where I immediately feel a separation, I stop overthinking the connection and I feel I’ve reclaimed my personal power (instead of feeling at the mercy of the situation).
In this 25 minute session, I'll take you through inner work prompts in preparation for the cord cutting ritual, where you'll enter a meditative state and be guided through a lucid visualisation to cut the cord. By the end, you'll feel a release and a palpable shift in your energetic and emotional state.

I usually struggle to visualize things clearly during guided meditations but this time it felt so clear & this made the emotional/energetic impact feel much stronger! I cried the minute I visualized them sitting across from me because it felt so clear. I felt a sense of relief when I saw them float away during the cord cutting but also a deep sadness, which is to be expected too. I really liked the focus of filling yourself with love and protecting your energy at the end.
I also really enjoyed the journal prompts, they helped me to feel clearer in my decision to cut the cord with this person (it’s so hard to feel clear on your choice!) They gave me a chance to really focus on the impact of this decision on myself, rather than the other person, which felt very grounding.
Ellen has such a soothing voice to listen to and I felt so supported. I really enjoyed the journalling prompts to think about the bond from different perspectives and what it means. I was asking myself why am I trying to look for approval from people who aren't giving it to me, and trying and hoping for them to see my worth. It was a huge realisation in perfect timing for me. The cord cutting exercise was really interesting and I enjoyed it a lot.
